| Spring and autumn have always been my favorite seasons. And while my preference for summer over winter had more to do with the effects that cold weather has on my body rather than some sort of seasonal disorder in recent years the summer heat has been a bit too much to bear as well. My photography and writings go hand in hand. As it was during a Labor Day Weekend 1992 trip to Fire Island that I then decided to integrate the two as a creative means by which to document the times as well as shed light on my personal story. A few years would pass before the "In The Fall of the Year" docu-project would give rise which over Labor Day Weekend 2011 morphed into the SEASONAL DISORDERS project. |
